MCAA Innovation Lab
MCAA students have been spending time in the school innovation lab working with ISS Above and studying the International Space Station in orbit. ISS Above is a Raspberry Pi computer device designed to capture live video feed and other information from the International Space Station. Students used soda cans and a Mercator map to plot the ground tracks of the ISS. In doing so, they found that the ground tracks make a sinusoidal (sine) wave.
