Students were introduced to their new athletic space this week, where Coach Rivers reinforced the rules and guidelines of using the new space with students during P.E. classes. The hardwood floors featuring a newly redesigned MCAA rocket logo replaced carpet that had served as a gym floor for many years at the school.

“We are excited to update this space at MCAA,” said Marietta’s Assistant Superintendent of Operations Erick Hofstetter. “We have a big vision for our Marietta facilities, and providing students with top notch spaces to learn and play are a priority.”

During the October 2018 Board of Education (BOE) meeting, the BOE approved new gym floors for three of the district’s elementary schools, including MCAA. The district expects to spend $114,900 on the improvements which are funded by E-SPLOST V.
